What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? 36 years of commitment to the local community and the talented individuals that make up the heart and soul of Blake Street Glass Studio.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring? We provide all the materials needed. Students need to bring all natural clothing (cotton shirt, jeans/long pants), not polyester. And close-toed shoes (no sandals). Bring ideas and inspiration and a sketchbook/drawings of what you would like to make/learn about.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? My inspiration came from the ability of the glass to capture one's imagination and light. The teamwork that goes into each work of art is a performance as well and continues to amaze me every day.

What do you love most about your job? I love being able to work with my hands and see my ideas come to fruition at the completion of each piece even if they changed during the process. That's what makes every piece unique. I also love working with other people to accomplish one goal. It gives a sense of community.
