In doing so, the instructors cover basic handgun-safety principles such as how the fight-or-flight instinct can affect variables in self-defense situations and the benefits of the Center Axis Relock technique. At the same time, they foster a non-intimidating environment that welcomes teens and seniors. The CCW Pros instructors specialize in concealed-carry courses and they also lead NRA-approved classes, tactical defensive pistol courses, and women's self-defense courses, among other programs.
