Come Play Detroit - Yoga Rocks Ford Field, Detroit

More than 3,000 people are expected to be at Ford Field on Saturday, February 22, and they won't be tailgating. Instead, they'll be participating in Yoga Rocks Ford Field, a massive yoga class organized by Come Play Detroit to benefit the Yoga By Design Foundation. If the 3,000 do show, they'll set a record for most participants in a single indoor yoga session and likely draw a flag for too many men on the field.

The event will be led by Yoga Shelter founder and renowned instructor Eric Paskel, who told CBS Detroit, "[due to the number of yoga mats] there won’t be a blade of grass that you can really see." The event will also showcase the great things that are happening in the community to make Detroit better.
