Starting at age 3, future engineers are made at Youth Technology Learning Center. Or at least that's the starting age for its engineering-themed classes. Kids Early Simple Machines class teaches 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-year-olds the basics of building using Legos, which is what all interns at architectural firms design with anyway. For slightly older engineers, robotics and basic engineering classes keep their brains engaged. And for still older crowds, technology takes center stage at classes such as digital animation and video game coding.
