Eat lunch before arriving at the turn-around so that you'll have enough time to hike to the foot bridge for some great photos and even greater scenery!

We'll worth the trip to ride the train. We didn't know you could bring your own food though. Next time we will pack a lunch for the ride.

Tell people ahead of time that they should bring goggles if they sit outside (protection from flying cinders).

Recommend upgrading to the night sky car or in the summer to the deluxe class car. Have to come back for the whole trip to silverton.

This company acted like they were not going to accept my groupon. They only wanted the printed verison and did not want to take it off of my phone. I was on vacation and did not have a printer which should not have been an issue. Two days later they called me and let me know that they did not have my voucher and that they would charge me for the full price if I did not call them back. I am extremely dissapointed in the customer service that I recieved from this company in regards of this groupon.
