Service was rediculously slow at the lodge at the top of the gondala, we ended up leaving before we ordered anything as we were waiting twenty minutes to even be greeted.

Put signage on your mountain! There really were no signs all the way down the hill, telling you which direction to go in for what. Quite appalling. We are experienced skiers who haven't been to Crystal for over 25 years (been to Sun Valley and many other resorts). We were shocked at the lack of visible information to get from one chair to another or how to choose which runs were easier vs. harder, where they'd end up, etc. We also sat on the Rainier Express for 20 minutes waiting for it to be repaired....very frustrating!!

Spring skiing should be cheaper, in general. The lift prices are a bit high at $55/50 for warm, sticky snow. Also, we'd love to see a lift go up to Throne or King! Great job with all the upgrades over the years, though! I just wish that Quicksilver and Gold Hills chairs would be turned back on more often

From Our Editors

Amid Crystal Mountain’s 2,600 acres, skiers can shoot down wide groomers, weave through glades, and float down mogul-filled bowls. While experts take advantage of two in-bounds backcountry areas, beginners cut their teeth on plenty of easier runs. Plus, since the resort is within Mt. Rainier National Park, everyone gets to enjoy spectacular views of the dormant volcano from the comfort of the gondola.
