"We teach the skills that build confident children," declares the staff at Hands on Art for Children. Among those skills: hand-eye coordination developed through painting and sculpting, and the self-expression that blossoms when kids create a new collage or drawing. Most of all, Hands on Art for Children tailors its programs to the needs of each of its students, whether a 4-year-old in the Fun Art class needs to lengthen her attention span, or a 13-year-old in the Master Art II class wants to bolster his Photoshop skills. And though children are the studio's focus, they're not the only attendees—adults can sign up for specialty workshops and monthly BYOB painting classes.
