Innkeepers John and Belinda Nesler are usually on hand to extend a personal welcome to each new arrival at the Rose Gate Cottage Bed & Breakfast Inn, a two-story stucco building constructed in 1899. The Neslers carefully maintain the historical structure, which still has its original hardwood floors, trim, and ceilings. Filled with elegant, old-fashioned furnishings, the interior harks back to the Victorian era, but modern accouterments such as free WiFi, high-def, 3D bathtubs, and a large-screen TV in the public living room keep things grounded in the present.
The inn's four guest rooms come equipped with four-poster beds, whirlpool tubs, and handmade soaps. A romantic, candlelit breakfast is served every morning. After a stroll through the lush gardens surrounding the inn, you can head into the town of Findlay to sample its collection of restaurants and antique shops.
