What You'll Get
When we meet for your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a client intake form and sign a written consent for the receipt of massage therapy, in addition to a liability waiver document. You may also choose to fill these forms prior to your visit by downloading them directly from this website under “Contact + Intake Forms” section, print them at your home or office, and bring them with you.
The client intake form alerts me to any medical issues that I need to be aware of. Also, with each visit I can keep track of what areas I treated and how you responded. This helps me provide much more effective treatments if you have a painful area. During our conversation I will try to get an understanding of what goals you would like to achieve from our massage session. If you have never had a massage before you may not be sure what you want, don’t worry. With just a few questions during our initial verbal intake we will come up with a goal based on your answers.
You can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. The most important thing is that you feel completely comfortable and relaxed.
During the massage, a clean sheet will cover you and I will provide you with disposable underwear . I only uncover the area that is being worked on. Some clients prefer to keep their underpants on or will wear a swimsuit or shorts. All private parts are always covered, and never touched. I will always maintain and respect the client’s boundaries.
Make yourself comfortable. Many people just close their eyes and relax completely during the session; others prefer to talk. It’s your massage, and whatever feels natural for you is the best way to relax. Do not hesitate to ask questions at any time. If I need to adjust your position, I will either move you (for instance lift your arm) or I will tell you what is needed. Otherwise, change your position anytime to make yourself more comfortable.

About A Chat with Balance Point Studio
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
As a National Board certified massage therapist with over 16 years of experience, business owner Andrea is also a certified personal trainer and yoga enthusiast. With this breadth of knowledge, he creates a customized massage to meet each client's individual needs.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Andrea helps his clients find inner balance. The demands of work and family often create stress that pulls us out of physical and psychological alignment. With this in mind, Andrea created Balance Point Studio, where clients can regain the equilibrium and love of life that is natural to all of us.
What do you love most about your job?
The fuel for Andrea's fire is the satisfaction he feels when his clients leave the session feeling revitalized and ready to attack their personal goals. Andrea seeks connection with each of his clients, and many become life-long friends.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
"I work out regularly. Andrea's excellent deep tissue massage speeds recovery and helps me maintain flexibility. Andrea has a warm personality, treats his customers like friends and even shares his favorite recipes from Italy. He is a true professional and cares deeply about his client's well being"
