Michelle Ann's athletic background helped her appreciate the physical challenge of yoga when she first discovered it. After training with Shri Yogi Hari at the Sampoorna Yoga Ashram, she went on to teach classes at parks, beaches, and inside the studio. In addition to creative vinyasa flow sequences, Michelle teaches hatha yoga. A portmanteau that combines the Hindi words for sun and moon, hatha aims to balance contrasting concepts such as "effort" and "surrender," or "healthy" and "tastes good." Michelle also blends vinyasa yoga and Pilates techniques to tone muscles and increase flexibility.
