The Great Frederick Fair, Frederick

The Great Frederick Fair celebrates the wonders of agriculture. Visitors can admire prize livestock and live harness racing, as they vie for ribbons and awards, or visit the birthing center to see newborn animals up close. The fair invites farmers and horticulturalists to enter plants and produce in their own competitions, and encourages community members to show off their best baked goods, arts and crafts, and other handiwork. In addition to displays and contests, the fair features a carnival filled with rides and games, as well as a grandstand that hosts musical acts, demolition derbies, and other exciting events and exhibits.
