Chef Michael Harr's dishes are informed by his globetrotting career as a chef, but flavored by the fresh ingredients right here in his hometown. Michael spent 20 years in kitchens around the world; now, at Largent's, he pulls from the region's bounty of seasonal ingredients to creates from-scratch seafood, steak, and salad dishes. One such salad features roasted red beets, whipped goat cheese, and lavender honey, making for a popular summery choice that contrasts nicely with the heartier lamb burger topped in tomato harissa jam and arugula. Complementing Chef Harr's cuisine are classic cocktails like sazarecs and mint juleps, plus craft beers and wines. Beyond the food, the local theme expands to the walls, where paintings by a local artist reside.
