Make sure when you buy this groupon, you need to know that it cannot be interchangeable between Pilates and barre It is fine, but I think that I would buy more if it was a little more expensive and interchangeable

I felt very welcomed and comfortable on and off the mats. Beautiful place, kind people, and just what I needed to relieve some stress. I'm definitely looking forward to trying out different classes such as hot yoga and pilates!

Class Description

Mat Pilates
Classic mat Pilates is based on precision of movement, posture, and alignment. It promotes the integration of body and mind while achieving strength, flexibility, agility and balance. Exercises are designed to address specific muscle groups. The core - abdominal and back muscles - are strengthened to support the spine. Major focus is also on the shoulders and pelvis. Overall strength and joint stability is addressed. classes are open to all - beginning to advanced students.
Pilates Wunda Chair
Originally designed by Joseph Pilates as a compact workout system for New York City apartments, Chair workouts enhance stability, balance and body control. The padded split pedal adds rotational and reciprocal movements of the joints and extremities. This full body exercise experience which focuses on upper and lower body strength and conditioning make the Chair a great tool for all types of athletes.
Pilates Tower
The Wall Towers provide Trapeze Table function in a very compact space. This equipment provides upper and lower body strengthening and stretching for the intermediate/advanced Pilates participant.
Pilates Cadillac
What is a Trapeze Table? Also called a Cadillac, this raised horizontal table is topped by a four-poster canopy with bars, straps and springs attached. An extraordinary variety of exercises are possible from gentle, spring-assisted sit-ups to advanced acrobatics. The trapeze table offers exercises and rehabilitation for all ages and abilities. The Cadillac is used for Private Sessions only. However, the Wall Towers allow you to perform much of the Cadillac repertoire.
Private Reformer Pilates
Private sessions are for everyone including those with injuries or other conditions such as shoulder, knee, hip, and/or back issues.
Pilates Reformer
Pilates equipment can be adjusted to assist or challenge the client whether a beginner or advanced student. The experienced teacher, with input from the client, determines the individual's imbalances, misalignments, posture, strength and other indicators to customize the practice. Designed to develop strength, flexibility, agility and balance the Pilates equipment offers the instructor and client many options to address specific needs.

Yoga for Kids
It's an age-old practice of body and mind that in recent years has swept the country as a new way to exercise. Yoga is making a mark here in Michiana, but its not just for Adults. "Yoga is great because it's a non-competitive sport because everyone is a winner," explains Bridgette Clark, owner of Beyond Zen in Granger.
Restorative Yoga
A relaxing Yoga practice done by candlelight. Experience a deep sense of well-being with a more tranquil approach to vinyasa flow. This is an introspective class that finds balance between movement and stillness, strength and surrender leaving you open, refreshed, and at peace.
Yoga for Bad Knees
Two of our instructors: Patty Thornton & Judith Johns, have had their knees replaced. Attend their classes for "knee friendly" yoga.
Family Yoga
Family bonding time for parents to share their love of yoga with their children aged 4+. This isn't your typical adult yoga class. It may incorporate games, partner yoga, etc. But will always include time to focus, control our bodies and calm our bodies in a final relaxation. 45 minutes.
Kid's Yoga
Yoga for children aged 3+ in their own, special studio.
Hot Yoga
Hot Yoga is a challenging series of postures performed in a precise order with some variation. The room is heated with 20% humidity. Hot Yoga encourages detoxification, increased muscular strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. This is an intermediate level class appropriate for those in good health who have taken previous yoga classes. Please bring plenty of water and a towel for all hot yoga classes.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Flow commonly refers to a style of yoga which incorporates breath synchronized movement, along with other ancient teachniques, such as bandhas, breath, and dristi or focal points. Vinyasa Flow yoga has its roots in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, South India. Incorporating a creative sequence of classical yoga postures linked by the breath, the practice builds internal heat leading to purification of the koshas or layers of the body.

TRX
The TRX system was developed by a U.S. Navy SEAL as a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercise allowing one to perform hundreds of exercises building power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility at an intensity level chosen by the user or led by the instructor. Body resisted training with the TRX allows one to move easily with the equipment, maximizing the body and mind's training and minimizing the injury to joints and overworked muscles. Class Description

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. How does deep tissue massage work? : When there is chronic muscle tension or injury, there are usually adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue) in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Adhesions can block circulation and cause pain, limited movement, and inflammation. Deep tissue massage works by physically breaking down these adhesions to relieve pain and restore normal movement. To do this, the massage therapist often uses direct deep pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles.
Relaxing Massage
Relaxation massage is essentially the same as a gentle swedish massage that uses smooth, gliding strokes. The primary purpose will be to help you relax, and the massage therapist will probably move at a slower pace and use light pressure. During a relaxation massage there is less emphasis on working out serious adhesions or knots in the muscle tissue and the therapist won't push your pain limits in order to get the muscle to release. Sometimes people even fall asleep during a relaxation massage. There are still substantial health benefits to a relaxation massage, including calming the nervous system, promoting a sense of well-being, improving blood circulation and stimulating the body's lymphatic system, which carries away waste products.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly. Each of our hot massage stones is sourced from naturally occurring basalt rock. Basalt is a volcanic rock that contains healing elements like oxygen and magnesium. It also is rich in iron and silica which allows it to retain heat very well. Our hot massage stones have been smoothed and shaped by the forces of the sea and found along coastal areas in Peru. Peruvian basalt is considered the most superior in the world because it has the highest mineral content and retains heat the best. Each stone has been hand selected for its size and shape to correspond with various parts of the body making every stone ideal for hot massage stone therapy. It's like being massaged with heated hands. This is a full body, relaxing massage.

How Is Pregnancy Massage Different From Regular Massage?
The mother's body must be properly positioned and supported during the massage, using pillows and padding. Proper positioning ensures comfort and safety for the mother and baby.
