Ride. Rebuild. Repeat. That’s the motto at Project ReCycle, a nonprofit specializing in all things bicycling. The organization began with programs catering to kids, such as the Dream Bike Program and Bikes for Tykes. The former rewards children who improve in the areas of respect, attendance, and academic growth with a refurbished bicycle, whereas the latter is an holiday event wherein children living in foster homes receive the gift of a bike. However, the nonprofit has expanded to offer other programs, including a bike mechanic series.
