Initially drawn to Gracie Jiujitsu in 1993 by the elegant emphasis on technique and leverage over brute force, Freddy Trillo's interest eventually blossomed into a career of teaching and guiding. Freddy—now a black belt with decades of experience—shares his passion with students of all ages and fitness levels at Trillo Jiujitsu Academy. Not all of the benefits are physical, though. Jiujitsu training also inspires self-control and boosts confidence in addition to providing challenging workouts that can help students build muscle tone, lose weight, or make progress toward their particular fitness goals.
