While the spare, modern decor is the first thing visitors to Seema's Salon will notice, the atmosphere is secondary to the salon's detailed approach to haircare. Paintings of flowers look down on stylists as they transform clients' hair with custom cuts, or remove unwanted fuzz with threading and waxing. Touches such as sleek vinyl benches and glass shelves stocked with ornate jewelry and shoes help keep visitors occupied while they wait for service. The salon also offers makeup applications, and owner Seema Gulamani's hair and makeup work was highlighted in a wedding photo shoot in About Town magazine.
