At B.A. Mixologist, teachers work all of those vital subjects into their curriculum, alongside the more fun stuff, such as common cocktail recipes, techniques for organizing a bar, and why bar jukeboxes are legally required to contain Hall and Oates. Beneath shelves brimming with different brands of hooch, the team can eventually guide students to certification as a mixologist and TABC-adherent bartender. Afterwards, mentors don’t simply kick their new trainees out the door with a pat on a back.
