What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Gunns’ Training Academy and Services, LLC offer License to Carry courses and other firearms courses such as Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun Shooting Courses, and tactical firearms training. I have a dual role as a 17-year veteran law enforcement officer and is currently a police sergeant and 10-year military veteran and is currently an Army Infantry Sergeant assigned to a reconnaissance unit on the Army National Guard side.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

I wanted to give back knowledge that I gained over 30 years of working with firearms. I believe the best education you can give to a firearm owner on how to use this right is Teaching, Informing, and Equipping them with knowledge. GTAS is not just a business, but a passion.

What do you love most about your job?

I enjoy the confidence, knowledge, satisfactory that the customer gain by the end of the course. I am more concerned about the quality of the class instead of the quantity.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

I received a class applause at the end of the course. It was very humbling.
