• How It Works: Inside each tank, there's 10" of water filled with 1,000 pounds of dissolved Epsom salts—that's what makes you float.
• Sensory Deprivation: The experience is meant to block all external stimuli to help the mind and body achieve a meditative, dreamlike state. The tank is designed to block light and sound, and the water inside is heated to body temperature to make it almost undetectable to skin.
