I went to this tasting with my mother and sister. This was a fantastic event. Chris shares with us his extensive knowledge on each tea, and how they originated. We also learned some tips on how to brew better quality tea. Each tea he served was amazing, and there were delicious treats to enjoy, too! The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. Chris and Kelsey are both very gracious hosts.

My daughter loves tea so I thought this would be a neat experience. It was awesome! There’s a bit of a wait to book your date, but the experience far exceeded my expectations. We tasted and learned about teas I had never heard of and Chris was very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. They had the largest variety of teas that I’ve ever seen. I’d recommend it, my daughter and I will be back!

The tea tasting at The Path of Tea was so much fun. Chris is a fount full (a teapot full?) of knowledge about tea's history, the tea plant tree, and the different customs and cultures that have evolved around tea. We tried so many kinds of tea--2 of which I'd never heard of. The treats were also great. I highly recommend this experience.

Intro to Organic Tea Tasting

A tea tasting at The Path of Tea promises to be a delightful and fun experience for everyone, from tea connoisseurs to tea virgins alike!
In our Introduction to Tea Tasting class, you will taste six different types of tea: white, green, oolong, black, pu-erh and rooibos. You will learn the history of tea, its origin, health benefits and much more. Not sure how to prepare your tea? Or curious about the different flavors or names of a tea? This introductory class is the perfect setting to have all your questions about tea answered and gain some serious tea knowledge. As an added treat, each student will receive a 2oz. bag of tea to test their new tea skills at home! We promise you will go home a quasi-tea snob!

If you prefer, you may pay over the phone or at the door; but please be sure to make a reservation beforehand.
