From Our Editors
1.When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
I have always enjoyed the medical field because it helps people. Having suffered from my own personal skin issues and finding no support for 24 years, I decided to educate myself to find the answers and then provide the needed support for my clients. I have been in this business for nine years.
2. What kind of decor do you use to help make your clients feel pampered and at ease?
Soft spa music and candles are used to make the client feel comfortable and calm. Even though we provide clinical facial work and photofacials we want each client to find a safe haven to come and relax and leave rejuvenated. The interior of a business can affect how its customers feel.
3. What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?
From the minute a client enters our studio, it is all about them. We only book one person at a time, giving us plenty of time to listen to that client's needs and provide our full attention. The service provided is nurturing because we both correct skin issues and make our clients feel special. Each person will leave with answers and results. A courtesy call is also completed 24 hours after service.
4. Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
We are not just a spa doing facials. We are medically trained to perform facials with state-of-the-art machines and products. Glymed has been in the USA for more than 25 years. Their Dermasound machine does everything: ultrafacials, ultrasonic facials, and microcurrent facials. It is hard for people to get into a dermatologist, so we give them a place to get answers for acne, rosacea, pigmentation, and eczema. We also look at the skin cell health and support that to reverse aging and stimulate collagen and elasticity.
