The stadium did not have its act together. The game was set to start at 7:30 so we arrive shortly after 7:00 to pick up our tickets. We waited in line for over ONE HOUR. By the time we got to our seats, it was well after 8:00 and the first period was nearly over (two goals had already be scored, which we totally missed). This is the crazy part: It was taking a INCREDIBLE amount of time per person to process their tickets. When I got up front, I was told that the hold was due to the fact that they were having a hard time fulfilling the "groups" of seating that was being requested. They said that they couldn't give 4 seats together because all they had left was groups of 3 and single seats. I was so frustrated at this point, I just told the lady to give me whatever. Even after I told her this, it still took SEVERAL minutes for her to just hand me 4 tickets - ridiculous. This is where it get's worse. Finally, we get our tickets, enter the stadium and find that it is only HALF FULL!!!!!!!!! There were huge sections of empty seating. We just found 4 seats together and sat down. No one ever bothered us or told us that we were in their seat. Why in the world was it taking so long for them to hand out tickets when the stadium was so empty? Why didn't they just hand out general admission tickets for the groupon people? Wings stadium has an antiquated ticket system and is not worthy of the Groupon name.
