For authentic Argentine bistro cuisine, no one does it like Novecento. After all, even though it started in New York, the international chain has been embraced in Argentina, where it has five locations.

Its chefs take traditional Argentine flavors and marry them with traditional European-bistro flavors, creating pan-seared sweetbreads paired with baby greens and brioche bread topped with grilled blood sausage and a poached pear. The garlicy green sauce known as chimichurri finds its way into several dishes, including grilled skirt steaks, flame-charred chicken, and spicy chorizo.

For dessert, chefs fill warm crêpes with dulce de leche and create a daily crème brûlée. Guests who forgot their Magic 8 ball can forgo making a decision and opt for the dessert tasting platter.
