Nutcracker Ballet and Santa Tea Party, King of Prussia

Founded in 1978 and currently owned by Maria Jacobs, Valley Forge Dance School teaches a plethora of dance styles to all age groups from toddlers to teens and adults. From Ballroom to Zumba - beginner students get the chance to learn the basics of any of many different styles: waltz, foxtrot, slow, disco, swing, rumba, cha cha, bachata, merengue, salsa, tango, bollywood, zumbini, ballet or line dancing.

Maria Jacobs has studied dance all over the world, and has taught over 1,000 couples their wedding first dance. She is a popular instructor at area night schools and keeps current by attending seminars, such as "Dancing with the Stars" in California, where she studied with Cheryl Burke, Tony Dovolani, Kym Johnson and Chelsie Hightower.
