What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

If you can find your way just 4 miles off of Interstate 40, on the historic highway 66 (Andy Devine Blvd) to the Kingman Airport Industrial Complex, there is a red building that houses a fun & delicious experience. With a grape covered gazebo outside, and covered porch with seating for patrons, the industrial park is soon forgotten. Inside, enjoy sitting at our historic bar, or our newest bar on the other side of the retail space. Between, find comfortable red and black chairs that are perfect for visiting and relaxing. Enjoy craft cocktails that are lovingly crafted from our finest spirits and all natural mixers and fresh fruits and herbs. Our newest cheese plate is perfect to nibble on as you taste our spirits.

This family owned and operated distillery, just seven years old, has been winning international awards for their rums and sugar cane based vodka since they opened in April of 2010. Since they start out with a raw material (molasses) and do 100% of their own fermentations, distillations and processing, they are creating delicious high end spirits that even whisky, bourbon and scotch drinkers love. Patrons are enjoying their new comfortable seating in the retail room, as well seating out on the covered patio. Live entertainment is offered on the first weekend of every month, and hours are extended that weekend. Delicious craft cocktails are offered every day they are open at the tasting bar as well. Special barrel dinners and BBQs are offered, sign up online on their newsletter for all VIP invitations. Space is available for special events, weddings, and group meetings.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

The Patt family grew 8 acres of grapes in North Carolina in the 1990s, and thought it would be great to get into the winery or brewery business someday. When they moved West, they conceeded that when the kids got into high school, they would start researching the businesses. They went to a distillery workshop to get information on resources in the industry, and saw their first arnold holstein still from Germany. It was love at first sight! They took a left turn at distilling and never looked back!

What do you love most about your job?

They love watching white wine drinkers and beer drinkers taste the Agave rum, and those tasters are surprised they like the agave rum! That is the customer favorite! The Patt family love making a product that is craft and meeting customers from all over the world and the 50 United States the best!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

The cutest reaction so far was when a customer cried when she found their delicious Barrel Reserve 5 year, which reminded her of her favorite imported Scotch. The barrel aging in new wood enhances the Barrel Reserve into something that is a hybrid taste, a favorite of whiskey, bourbon and scotch drinkers alike.
