Rondout Creek won't be the only thing weaving through the town of Kerhonkson on September 12. For the fourth year in a row, runners will set off on a 5K course that sends them through the burg's streets and around its winding creek. At the end of the race, participants can peruse vendor booths for handmade knickknacks before entering the Great Duck Race at 3 p.m., then boogying to live music and rubbing elbows with local artisans and food vendors. Proceeds from the event go toward Friends of Historic Kerhonkson, which spearheads social events and boosts conservation efforts.
