If you just pretend the Rockies are another mountain range, being transported to another continent isn't too hard at Himalaya House. Entering the dining room, the unmistakable smell of curry and the rich melange of spices is immediately apparent. The kitchen prepares dishes from an extensive menu of Indian and Tibetan cuisine, including spicy lamb vindaloo, and traditional Tibetan dumplings, called momos, which are filled with meat or vegetables, steamed or fried, and then served with chutneys for dipping.
