Lacia McKee is known to her friends and loyal employees as "The Cake Diva." As she recently admitted on TLC's Fabulous Cakes, the nickname comes from her tendency to be "OCD in the kitchen." But you won't hear anybody complain about working alongside the owner of HottCakez Of Las Vegas. After all, they get to be part of the extravagant cakes she creates.

One such cake was recently showcased on TLC—actually, it was more like six cakes. Inspired by red-carpet glamor, the centerpiece was a fondant evening gown sparkling with sugar jewels. Grouped around the gown were smaller red-velvet and chocolate cakes molded to resemble accessories such as a shoe box, a hat box, and even a dog.

This level of detail is par for the course at HottCakez, which also recently produced a classic three-tiered wedding cake encrusted with jewels.
