What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We're the only dojo in town with a dedicated weekly women's self-defense class taught by a female Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It's not unusual for coed classes to be half women. Our mat is diverse and our community is supportive.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Becoming a martial artist has made my life better in countless ways, and I feel the only right thing to do is to share what I've learned. Each candle lights another.

What do you love most about your job?
My students! I love being by their side as they develop real skills and reap greater self-trust, courage, and serenity.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
A student told me she suffered from violent nightmares. After a few months of training, she no longer felt paralyzed in her dreams and was able to meet her fears in a concrete and sustainable way. I was so grateful to be on that path of healing with her.
