Creation Station Dance West Hills takes a systematic approach to developing their students' dance skills. All their classes are tailored to different ages, and the curriculum mirrors the brain's development as the students age. The toddler classes, for instance, aim to keep pace with the child's desire to play and to learn with motor development games and by introducing the basic terminology of dance. Storybooks compliment ballet lessons for children ages 3 or 4, and a more ballerina-like atmosphere envelops students once they hit 5 years old, complete with ballet attire, hair tied in a bun, and swans walking around checking form. Each class begins with a consistent structure, allowing kids to feel some familiarity even as they progress through the school. Classes continue for all ages, including tap or jazz for teenagers and ballet for adults.
