We welcome you to Six Forks Burger Company. We strive to become an integral member of the Shelby Park community and feel humble and blessed to have this amazing opportunity to serve this community.

So, a little about us….

    Our beautiful blended family began with a chance meeting through an online dating site, which lead to our first date on August 14, 2013. We have been a couple ever since. In a matter of months, we created one of the most unique blended families with five children, a few pets and lots of cultural diversity.

     Our culinary journey officially began on June 27, 2014, when we opened our first food truck, POLLO – a gourmet chicken joint. In November of 2014, we expanded to a second truck, by taking a 40 foot city bus and turning it into not only the only the largest food truck in Kentucky, but also the only one with it’s very own dining room.

     On September 1, 2015, GOD showed us that he has a great sense of humor and unexpectedly blessed us with the pleasant surprise of our sixth and final child. Hence the name Six Forks, for our beautiful six children.

     In June of 2019, almost 5 years exactly to the date of the opening of POLLO, Selena decided to leave her corporate accounting career and work solely for the businesses that we have created. As fate will have it, not one week later, we discovered the building at 1270 South Preston Street was available. After some prayer, lots of sleepless nights and a little paint, Six Forks Burger Company became a reality. 

Six Forks Burger Company is a stop shop for “build your own burgers”, with several wild game burgers, chicken sandwiches, creative hot dog selections, French fries five different ways, vegetarian options and desserts. Oh, let’s not the forget the mason jar kool-aid.
