State Line Distillery, Madison

John Mleziva earned his Masters of Science in brewing and distilling in Edinburgh, Scotland. There, he perfected his spirit production skills, which he brought back to the United States in order to found State Line Distillery. This facility produces liquor from grain-to-glass and guests can sample their gin, vodka, coffee liqueur, and aquavit (a Scandinavian caraway and anise spirit). All of the grains used in production are Midwestern grown--something the entire team at State Line feels very strongly about. Mleziva's traditional distilling knowledge paired with local whole ingredients and traditional distillation methods makes a trip to State Line Distillery a quality, and tasty time.
