Many years ago in a little town in India, a man was obsessed. S. Attar Singh Chawla was not satisfied with his restaurant's signature dish. In his free time, he'd spend hours poring over the recipe, mixing and matching spices until he finally had it: the mysterious recipe that would become the famous Chawla's Cream Chicken. Cooked in milk and cream with a mix of secret spices, the recipe took off, rocketing the restaurant to legendary status and becoming the centerpiece of a menu filled with tasty vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian foods. Today, Chawla's is one of the biggest food chains in India and boasts franchises in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. Their famous cream chicken is served up beside mushroom masala, tandoori chicken, fish tika, and a variety of other Indian dishes.
