"Meet, Drink, and Paint Happy"—that's the motto and simple formula for fun at Uptown Art. In this social—and very casual—art experience, aspiring painters are equipped with supplies, canvases, and aprons. Would-be Picassos that need an extra little boost can look to a friendly, hands-on instructor to guide them, as well as some liquid inspiration. Classes are open to artists of all levels, as co-founder Vicki Meads notes, “We love to see new artists attend our classes and leave with a finished painting. Their smiles tell it all!”
