It is a very fun place for my 2 and 4 year olds. There is always plenty to do. Most people stay until story time at 11 and then leave after that, so if you want it less crowded about 11:30 is a great time. It is a great place to go at anytime though.

Great for all ages, plenty of 'make & take' crafts, great toddler area too

This is not what I thought it would be. I would describe this as a great art and craft center. With a small play area. My son is three and he loves crafts so we really enjoyed it. We will see how often they change the crafts to see how much we will be going. We had a great day and look forward to going again.

Fun, but it will be hard to get your kids to agree to leave! lol

Ideal for younger children, though my nine-year-old still had fun!

You have to park your stroller at the door. Which is kinda lame. But it's a small museum so it's ok unless your child is sleepy.

From Our Editors

Self-expression and imagination have no age limits. That's the idea behind i.d.e.a. Museum, a gathering place for youngsters to explore art and their own creativity. Rotating exhibitions, which have included glow-in-the-dark portraits and bead art, stimulate children's imaginations as well as the sense of sight. Guests can follow the spark of inspiration and create their own magnum opuses during art classes or in the museum's interactive play area, Artville. Decorated with giant-size paint brushes and other art equipment, Artville presents kids with a colorful array of play stations and even a performance arts center to stage productions of Waiting for Go Dog Go.
