H.I.T, Milpitas

True to its name, H.I.T.—short for Hotpot, Shaved Ice, and Tea—specializes in fresh house-made ice teas and soups from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Each hot pot, served at a rolling boil, either comes in metal pot perched above a small flame or inside a stone bowl that keeps ingredients cooking long after their taken off the heat. No matter the container, though, each Asian-style hotpot comes filled to the brim with authentic ingredients in broths that can range from mild to spicy. Bean sprouts, mushrooms, and tofu can be found in veggie dishes, while a selection of meaty options await carnivores, including sacha beef and Taiwanese-style chicken.
