Like many who adopt alternate therapies as a career, Daniel Burnes first discovered the benefits firsthand, as a patient. Formerly a successful salesman, Daniel suffered a pelvic injury while on the job, and found traditional physical therapy unsuccessful in relieving his pain. It took his seven years to discover the power of rolfing, but when he did, he knew he had to dedicate the rest of his life to helping others find similar relief.

Today, Daniel spends his days helping those suffering from conditions such as carpel tunnel syndrome, sciatica, stiffness, and even poor sleep patterns using rolfing—a type of body work that focuses on lengthening and softening the fascia, in order to restore proper alignment in the body. But the benefits aren't just physical: Daniel likens the effects of 10 rolfing sessions to practicing yoga an hour a day for an entire year.
