"Fly. Fit. Fun." The Aviary's tagline succinctly sums up what fitness seekers can expect from classes there, and yet it just skims the surface of how the silks studio quite literally turns fitness upside down.

Airborne athletics: Whereas some fitness studios urge people to get off the sofa and into a gym, the Aviary suggests getting off the floor entirely. The long, colorful silk hammocks it suspends from the ceiling facilitate aerial exercises, and they also can be used for support and resistance.

Flexibility and fitness for everyone: Classes allow students of all ability levels to use their body weight to build flexibility and strength—especially in the core and upper body—while also toning their muscles.

An all-around good time: During instruction, students get to learn circus-inspired acrobatic moves that keep their workouts fun and reduce the chances of boredom and burnout.
