Tropical Skoops' ice creams bring Caribbean flavors to Florida by the cup and conefull. The shop itself, though, is as much as a portal to the islands as it is a local hangout, especially on weekends. Every Friday night, the venue hosts an ice cream social with free samples and dancing. Then on Saturdays, the focus turns to romance with shareable sundaes that couples can assemble for themselves. But kids aren't left out of the action, either: Sundays welcome them to Kids' Day, where they can make their own desserts and enjoy face painting, musical chairs, and learning what napkins are for.
