The Cause This special event strives to raise awareness and support, and improve the public image of, the emerging medical and recreational marijuana industry, and to promote responsible consumption and education.
The Charities: The race and expo support the iHumanRace Organization and the Washington State Association for Substance Abuse Prevention.
The Course: The 5K portion of this festival Saturday morning takes place on the Evergreen Speedway, where participants can feel comfortable making "vrroom=vrroom" noises as they run.
The Expo: Following the 5K, the Natural Health Expo invites attendees to interact with representatives from different annals of the medical marijuana industry, including retailers, processors, doctors, growers, and even police and drug abuse prevention specialists.
Other Festivities: Cool down from your runner's high with live music and partake in an intentionally punny "Potluck" raffle.
