Whisper Charters derives its name from its boat: the environmentally friendly and quiet 22′ Selkie II electric boat. Disturbing the peaceful sea life as little as possible, these tours gently glide-out to visit with the wildlife of Monterey Bay—from harbor seals to rare birds like the green necked pelagic cormorant. It pilots sunrise excursions to greet the waking fauna and mid-day expeditions to observe all the creatures playing. For a more intimate trip of only four people, Whisper Charters leads an otter ocean adventure out to the playful otters of Elkhorn Slough.
