The Honey Loaf, New Orleans

The Honey Loaf, located within the BioInnovation Center, serves up healthful gourmet deli cuisine in an environment that's more like a lounge than a typical sandwich shop. Visitors dine on specialties such as the Treme—a sandwich with bourbon-peppercorn turkey and pepper bacon—or the Strawberry Spring salad, which is tossed with garlic mushrooms, pecans, blueberries, and gorgonzola. They can also sip pour-over coffee and smoothies while seated in cushioned armchairs beneath ambient lighting.
