Many people are guilty of putting undue pressure on their bodies, but probably not 405 pounds worth. Doctor of Chiropractic Chad Filimon hoisted that much weight to claim a state weightlifting championship in high school, giving him a first-hand perspective on the body's limitations and the strength to shoulder half the medical partnership of Advanced Chiropractic Associates, Inc. His partner, Doctor of Chiropractic Joseph Ferrantelli, literally wrote the book––two textbooks in fact––on the clinic's preferred method of treatment, Clinical Biomechanics of Posture (CBP), a method that aims to balance areas of pain or injury with mirror-image adjustments and exercises that focus on the alignment of the entire spine. The doctors also specialize in decompression therapy, on-site massage, laser therapy for chronic pain or depressed cats, and auto-accident-injury treatment, for which Dr. Ferrantelli has attended numerous continuing-education seminars.
