Lively Schooner Inc, Newport Beach

The rippling of sails. The smell of the spray. The excitement of life on the water. The aptly named Lively invites visiting crew members to experience this and more during sailing lessons, bay cruises, and oceanic excursions. Each expedition is led by Captain Andrew Mayhugh, owner of the classic '76 Willard Marine custom schooner. Capt. Mayhugh and his first mate Vanya Keyes discuss their guests' goals before raising anchor, forming trips around their particular interests. This can include a hands-on class in rigging, a deep-sea fishing trip, or a gentle cruise past Newport's celebrity homes and landmarks, to name a few.
