School of Rock North Providence, North Providence

School of Rock North Providence offers private lessons and Rock performance classes for students of all ages, from 5 to 95. We provide an alternative to traditional music lessons by embracing contemporary Rock and Pop music of all genres (Funk, Soul, Metal, Country, Reggae, Hip-hop, R & B etc.) with a focus on performance on Guitar, Drums, Keyboards, Bass Guitar and Voice. We also offer specialized lessons on other instruments such as ukulele and saxophone. We believe that the stage is the ultimate teacher and encourage all students to participate in our ensemble performance programs that allow students to collaborate with other students in their own Rock band. Anyone can become proficient on their instrument and fly solo, but connecting with other students and working together to put on an incredible Rock show builds teamwork, listening skills, problem solving, stage presence and leadership in addition to mastery of skills on their individual instruments.
