They sucked-My groupon had cheese & crackers with the wine. They were out of cheese & crackers. Didn't give us anything else because they were out. They acted like it wasn't their problem & didn't care. The wine server wasn't very friendly either. Will not waste my money to go back.

It is closed now! Wine was OK but they really offered nothing more and the atmosphere was pedestrian. If they had a menu of some kind perhaps coffee, they may have made it.

This place has tons of potential...great space for drinking and music. It just doesn't quite manage to find it's niche. Should just be a bar and music venue. No food is an issue.

RRW is a beautiful place however the wine selection was very disappointing. The staff serving had no idea how to present wine for tasting. Was hoping to have pairing suggestions, more knowlegable information. Cheese served looked like they ran over to the Family Fare, not gourmet. Will not go back.

Really the reason i wouldn't go back is that there hours aren't what is advertised. I called to see if i needed to make a reservation for about 4 days til i got a hold of someone. I was calling during their posted business hours. They ran out of the wine I enjoyed, so they gave us a discount to come back at another time when they got another batch in. They gave us a discount coupon (which was awesome thank you), but once again no one was there during their posted business hours for me to go in and purchase the wine. It makes it frustrating as a customer to try multiple times to just try out a new business and that business isn't open during their scheduled times.

From Our Editors

The sommeliers of the recently opened Rogue River Winery, under the management of Jay Johnson, want their guests to learn about and love wine as much as they do, even providing do's and don’ts of wine drinking on their website. They fill appropriate glassware with blends created on the premises, which are perched atop the wooded banks of the Rogue River, and also pour notable wines and sangria from neighboring Michigan vineyards. A tasting room with burgundy walls, a reflective double-sided bar, and soft contemporary lighting welcome guests for leisurely wine-and-cheese tastings, and visitors can also enjoy a spacious outdoor patio. The winery also hosts corporate events, as well as bachelorette parties where brides-to-be can blend their own wine.
