Out strolling the natural-grass tees at the driving range or on the practice green, PGA Apprentice Paul J. Breton can be found doling out instruction to help golfers shave strokes. Breton shares his knowledge at Eastwood Golf Club. Set on 190 acres, the club presents a well-manicured, watery backdrop for adults and juniors as Paul helps them iron out rickety swings and calibrate short-game accuracy. By lending a hand as beginners chip and putt their way up the learning curve and avid golfers focus on weak spots, Paul also shows them how to more thoroughly enjoy the game of golf without swapping out the golf ball for a golf ball with a thimble-sized rocket booster.
