What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Over the years working with patients, I found most people had no idea what diabetes was. ... helping people better understand why they need to check blood sugars, what their medicine is doing, and why they need to eat a certain way..seems to empower change.

What do you love most about your job?
I love empowering people to use their new diabetes knowledge and having them acheive better A1C levels; thus reducing their risk of future complications and living a long healthier life.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
"You changed my life." "I feel better now that my blood sugars are in better control. I never really understood what I ate affected my blood sugars. I just ate and didn't pay it any attention. It was overwhelming. Now, I enjoy food with my family and friends... just in smaller portions."
