From Our Editors
As the largest miniature show on the East Coast, Philadelphia Miniaturia displays a vast array of tiny artworks and artifacts. In pulling together dolls and other scaled-down creations, it also draws some of the outsized personalities who craft and collect these items, many of who hold workshops during the multiday event. From instruction on how to make a three-tiered decorative wedding cake at a twelfth of the normal size, to sessions on sewing garments that measure no more than an inch long, its workshops offer a space for miniaturists to learn and share each other's passions. Other events include live and silent auctions, as well as high tea, for which features some of your favorite princess to delight you with song, and pose for your photos.
