At DanceFit Chestnut Hill, we know how to disguise your exercise! Designed for the person who simply loves to dance, everyone is welcome. At our boutique dance fitness studio, we offer group fitness classes like Zumba®, HipFit, Ballet BarreFit, DanceFit Bootcamp, Yoga Booty Ballet®, Flex & Stretch and more. Enjoy a fun party with friends but also get a good workout!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

In July 2017, Bria was looking for fitness classes where she could dance, have fun, meet new friends, and get a great workout in her beloved neighborhood of Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. In November 2017, two weeks after her 25th birthday, she opened DanceFit Chestnut Hill to fill that void. As a recording artist, Bria has been seen and heard on MTV, VH1, Fox, TVOne and more. Combining her bachelor of arts in Media Business & Entrepreneurship from Temple University, multiple Zumba Fitness Instructor Certifications, a 14-year background in cheer & dance, she is ecstatic about sharing her love for music, dance, fitness, and fun.

What do you love most about your job?

The best part of our jobs at DanceFit Chestnut Hill is meeting new people and seeing their lives change. Even if just for the 50 minutes during class, clients get to let loose, have fun, and accomplish goals at the same time. Seeing each client's bright smile is an incredibly gratifying feeling.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

The best reaction (so far!) we've gotten from a customer was right after our grand opening. A woman in her mid 50's who hadn't exercised in years was nervous about taking class. After her first class at the grand opening, she posted two reviews, shared with all her friends, made the staff homemade vegetable soup, and has been back to class every single day since.
